Ribfest first came to Summerside in July, 2017. An estimated 10,000 people attended over the three days and was enjoyed by all. Ribfest Chairman, Phil Bridges contacted the Ribbers to see if they would return to Summerside in 2019. Once again another great event was held and unfortunately 2020 was cancelled due to Covid. We were back in 2021 but due to Covid, only had 1 Ribber. We are very excited to be bringing back Ribfest to Summerside and work with Atlanticade being hosted by the City of Summerside. We are thrilled to announce that we have confirmed three Ribbers and the return of the Tater King! The grounds will be fenced in giving an entry point. This allows people to make donations to the organizations (College of Piping and Generation XX) that are bringing Ribfest to Summerside. The fencing also mean the entire grounds will be licensed and you can enjoy an alcohol beverage anywhere on the grounds if legal age. There will also be an entertainment stage featuring live entertainment for more than 30 hours! This would not be possible without the great support from the City of Summerside and our sponsors.
